DC Court Ruling in Verizon case
Word may have circulated, but for anyone who is not aware, the US Court
of Appeals for the DC Circuit today has reversed the decision in RIAA v.
Verizon, holding that the ISP does not have to disclose names of
subscribers who use P2P file sharing programs and download music. A

This ruling, which could be further appealed to the US Supreme Court,
could very well engender a new round of legislation on DMCA matters,
making a well-targeted ACS politically timely.
